The Hawaii Health Systems Corporation Board of Directors relies on the Executive Management Team (EMT) for advice and counsel. The EMT evaluates, recommends, and implements major policies and strategies that assure continuance of quality health care to the communities which HHSC serves. The board consists of community volunteer leaders, who generously contribute their time and expertise. Each is knowledgeable of Hawaii's unique cultural diversity and health needs. They are representatives of the total community from medical statesmen to business leaders, physicians, and public-policy makers.
